In the skies over Europe this June, Ryanair soared to new heights—literally and figuratively. The low-cost carrier transported a staggering 19.9 million passengers, marking a 3% rise from the same month last year. It was a testament to travel’s steady rebound, even amid global uncertainty.
Despite operating in a turbulent world, with over 800 flights cancelled due to the ongoing Middle East conflict, Ryanair still managed to keep its signature efficiency: a load factor of 95%, exactly as it stood the year before. Planes flew full, airports buzzed, and summer travel rolled on.
Behind the scenes, more than 109,000 flights crisscrossed the skies in June alone—each one a moving dot on a digital map, carrying holidaymakers, business travellers, and everyone in between.
Looking at the bigger picture, Ryanair’s rolling annual traffic grew 7% year-on-year, reaching an impressive 202.6 million passengers. Even with global headwinds, the airline’s momentum shows no signs of slowing.
June 2025 was more than just another month—it was a quiet triumph for a carrier that keeps finding ways to climb.
