Ryanair flight RK1266 from Manchester to Agadir, operated by Boeing 737-800 registered G-RUKO, was forced to return after a woman allegedly tried to open an emergency exit while in flight.
Fellow passengers intervened and alerted the crew, with the captain personally monitoring the door until landing.
The aircraft safely touched down at Manchester Airport, where police arrested the woman. Engineers inspected and repaired the exit before the flight resumed its journey to Morocco, where it landed with less than 2 hours delay.
