RYANAIR SCHEDULES DORTMUND MATCHDAY SPECIALS FOR UK-BASED BUNDESLIGA FANS
Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low fares airline, today (10 Nov) announced matchday specials from London Stansted to Dortmund to accommodate the hundreds of UK-based German football fans who travel to watch Borussia Dortmund’s home games in the Bundesliga.
Over 1,000 fans travel from the UK to watch Dortmund at the Westfalenstadion every fortnight and Ryanair has rescheduled its popular daily service on Saturdays to accommodate these fans.
From 29 November, Ryanair’s Stansted-Dortmund flight will depart at 07.30hrs on Saturday and return at 15.45hrs on Sunday, ensuring football supporters can continue to travel to watch Europe’s best value league on Europe’s lowest airfares.
Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said:
“Borussia Dortmund have built up a sizeable fan base in the UK and Ryanair is pleased to re-schedule our Saturday flight from London Stansted to Dortmund. From 29 November, our matchday special will depart at 07.30hrs and return at 15.45hrs on Sunday, allowing UK Dortmund fans to show their “echte liebe” on the lowest fares.”
