Ryanair has carried over one million Erasmus students across its network of more than 235 destinations, marking a key milestone in its long-standing partnership with the Erasmus Student Network (ESN). The initiative underlines Ryanair’s role in supporting affordable student mobility across Europe during educational exchanges.
As thousands of Erasmus students travel home for Christmas, the partnership continues to offer tangible benefits. Registered ESN students can access a 10% discount on up to four one-way flights (or two return trips), along with a free 20kg checked-in bag on each booking, making festive travel more affordable on a student budget.
Ryanair highlighted the programme’s importance in enabling low-fare travel for students, while ESN noted the partnership’s positive impact over nine years in helping international students travel, reconnect with home, and explore new destinations.
