Share

Ryanair reported strong traffic growth in May 2026, carrying 20.7 million guests across its network, a 6% increase compared with 19.6 million passengers in May 2025.

The airline maintained a robust load factor of 95%, unchanged from the same month last year, highlighting continued strong demand despite the increase in capacity. During the month, Ryanair operated more than 114,000 flights.

On a rolling 12-month basis, Ryanair carried 210.4 million passengers, up 4% from 202.0 million in the previous year. The rolling load factor remained stable at 94%.

The latest figures reinforce Ryanair’s position as Europe’s largest airline by passenger numbers, with both monthly and annual traffic continuing to grow while maintaining industry-leading load factors.
