Ryanair to link Berlin Schönefeld with Eilat in Israel twice a week

Beach holiday in Israel

As part of the winter flight plan, Ryanair will be flying two times a week from Berlin Schönefeld to Eilat. Their planes will fly to the southern Israeli city on Tuesdays and Sundays. Situated on the Gulf of Aqaba, Eilat enjoys comfortably warm temperatures year round, and so is able to offer everything that you could expect from a beach holiday – including dolphins and breathtaking marine life.

A Paradise for Divers and Watersport Enthusiasts
Whilst Germany suffers sub-zero temperatures, visitors to Eilat can often be found swimming in the 25° Red Sea. Clear waters and the local coral reef make this coastal city a paradise for divers around the world. A must for every visitor is the Dolphin Reef Beach, a natural pool with direct access to the sea, where dolphins sometimes play. If you’re lucky, you can even stroke them. Numerous diving schools offer courses or rent the necessary equipment. If you want to immerse yourself in the underwater world but don’t fancy getting wet, you can take a peek under the water with a visit to the local underwater observatory. In particular, the shark tank is a very special experience for any family with children.

Nature and Environment
For nature lovers, Eilat offers a diverse landscape. The Edom Mountains, which are surrounded by the Negev desert, invite outdoor fanatics to wander and climb. In Timna National Park, visitors can view various rock formations and ancient copper mines. For families, we especially recommend a visit to the King’s City theme park or the Chai Bar Jotvata – a nature reserve north of Eilat. Furthermore, you can always take day-trips to the city of Petra in Jordan or Sinai Peninsula.

Other recently launched flights from Berlin to Israel
Germania now also offers flights from Berlin Tegel to Tel Aviv
