Ryanair launches boarding pass advertising (there are no small profits)

Share

Ryanair today (18 June) officially launched boarding pass advertising, offering advertisers the chance to run highly targeted campaigns, and bid for prime access to Ryanair’s 153m guests per annum by advertising on their boarding passes. With low minimum spend levels and Ryanair’s unique online self-serve portal, this product allows both large global and small local brands to directly advertise to Ryanair’s customer base, travelling to over 200 destinations in 37 different countries.

Interested brands can learn more or sign up for free to Ryanair’s advertising portal “BoardAd” via the dedicated online page (https://adverts.ryanair.com/) on Ryanair’s website.

Ryanair’s Greg O’Gorman said:

“Ryanair is Europe’s No. 1 airline and with over 153 million guests this year, our boarding passes offer unrivalled access to Europe’s most prolific travel community. With the majority of guests printing their boarding cards up to 48hours prior to travelling and referencing them on average over 8 times during the course of the journey, this product provides a unique opportunity for advertisers throughout Europe to target specific Ryanair customers.”
