Ryanair extends Amazon Web Services partnership for five more years

Share

Ryanair has renewed its strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for a further five years, expanding its use of cloud computing and artificial intelligence to support the airline’s operations and future growth.

Under the agreement, Ryanair will continue to use AWS technologies to power its digital platforms, optimise scheduling across its fleet of 647 aircraft and nearly 3,900 daily flights, and improve operational efficiency. The airline also plans to expand the use of AI tools, including Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore, to digitalise pilot workflows, enhance employee productivity and develop new customer-facing applications.

Ryanair said the renewed collaboration will support its ambition to grow to 300 million passengers annually by 2034 while further improving the customer experience and maintaining the operational efficiency that underpins its low-cost business model.

AWS said the partnership reflects the growing role of cloud technology, data analytics and artificial intelligence in transforming airline operations, from AI-powered travel planning for passengers to real-time decision-support tools for pilots, cabin crew and ground staff.
