Ryanair expands in Finland this winter with 9 new routes (incl. one to Brussels South Charleroi), 14 routes in total

Ryanair today (23 June) announced its expansion in Finland which sees its return to Helsinki where it will operate 29 departing flights per week across eight destinations to a host of international hotspots including London, Paris, Brussels and many more this winter. Ryanair also adds 1 new route to London Stansted from Tampere, operating 2 flights per week. Already operating from Lappeenranta, the launch of these nine new routes demonstrates Ryanair’s commitment to the happiest country in the world^[1] and will play a key role in the recovery of jobs and the local economy.

Finnish consumers and tourists can now plan their winter getaway – as far out as March ’22 – on even lower fares and with the option to avail of Ryanair’s zero change fee should plans change. To celebrate, Ryanair has launched a seat sale with fares available from just €19.99 for travel until the end of March 2022, which must be booked by midnight Friday, 25^th June on the Ryanair.com website.

Jet off to Finland from Brussels-Charleroi: Ryanair launches a new route to Helsinki

This winter, Irish airline Ryanair is launching a new route between Brussels South Charleroi Airport and the Finnish capital. From 2 November 2021, there will be 3 flights a week between Brussels-Charleroi and Helsinki.

After announcing the opening of new routes to Sweden (Stockholm-Arlanda, from 31 October 2021) and Denmark (Billund, from 1 November 2021), it is now the turn of the world’s second most northerly capital to be linked up with Brussels-Charleroi.

Helsinki, a port city on the Gulf of Finland, will be linked to Brussels South Charleroi Airport thanks to 3 flights a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The airline’s 189-seat Boeing 737-800s will leave Brussels-Charleroi at 06.30 and land in Finland at 10.15. The return flight to Belgium is scheduled for 10.40, arriving at Brussels-Charleroi at around 12.25.
The city is packed with cultural attractions, including a vast selection of museums to visit. Classic architecture and design are a specific feature of Nordic countries and play an important role in the urban landscape. Tourists can take the time to explore this vibrant, green capital, as well as the nearby islands.
