Ryanair, Belgium’s No I airline, today (2 Dec) celebrated carrying 40m customers to/from Brussels Charleroi since its first flight in May 1997. Ryanair will operate 77 Brussels Charleroi routes next summer (2015), which will deliver over 5.2m customers p.a. and support 5,200* on-site jobs at Brussels Charleroi airport.
In Summer ’15 at Brussels Charleroi, Ryanair will deliver:
o 12 based aircraft
o 77 Brussels Charleroi routes
o Over 400 weekly flights
o Key business routes to/from Milan (3 x daily), Madrid (2 x daily) & Dublin (1 x daily)
o 5.2m Ryanair customers p.a.at Brussels Charleroi
o 5,200 on-site jobs*
Belgian visitors can choose from 77 Brussels Charleroi routes next summer, while enjoying allocated seating, a free 2nd carry-on bag, a new website, a new app with mobile boarding passes, and Ryanair’s new Family Extra and Business Plus services. Ryanair will continue to connect Brussels Charleroi with Europe’s major business centres with more routes, extra flights and better schedules, offering business customers the largest range of destinations at the lowest fares.
Ryanair celebrated carrying its 40 millionth customer at Brussels Charleroi by releasing 100,000 seats on sale across its European network, at prices from €19.99 for travel in December, January and February. These low fare seats are available for booking until midnight Thursday (4 Dec).
