Ryanair welcomed a record 22.2 million passengers in July 2026, a 7% increase compared with the same month last year, as Europe’s largest airline continued to benefit from strong summer travel demand.
The low-cost carrier operated more than 120,800 flights during the month while maintaining an impressive load factor of 96%, unchanged from July 2025. The consistently high occupancy underlines the continued strength of demand across Ryanair’s extensive European network during the peak holiday season.
Over the rolling 12-month period to the end of July, Ryanair carried 213.2 million passengers, representing 5% growth compared with the previous 12-month period. The airline also maintained a 94% load factor, matching last year’s performance despite the continued expansion of its network and capacity.
The July figures further reinforce Ryanair’s position as Europe’s largest airline by passenger numbers and highlight the continued resilience of demand for low-cost air travel across the continent. The carrier is expected to continue adding capacity during the remainder of the summer season as it pursues further growth across its European network.
