A Polish court has convicted a passenger who disrupted a Ryanair flight from Palma de Mallorca to Pozna?, reinforcing the airline’s stated zero-tolerance policy towards unruly behaviour.
The incident occurred aboard flight FR954 on 8 June 2025. The District Court for Pozna?–Grunwald and Je?yce found the passenger guilty and imposed a fine of PLN 3,000. The passenger was also ordered to pay PLN 2,500 directly to the affected crew member.
Ryanair welcomed the judgment, saying it demonstrates the potential legal and financial consequences of misconduct on board its aircraft.
“This demonstrates just one of the many consequences, including travel bans and offload fines, that passengers who disrupt flights will face as part of Ryanair’s zero-tolerance policy,” said airline spokesperson Jade Kirwan.
The carrier said it would continue taking action against the small number of passengers whose behaviour disrupts flights or creates unnecessary stress for other travellers and crew.
Ryanair added that it hopes the conviction will deter similar incidents and help ensure that passengers and employees can travel and work in a safe and comfortable environment.
