On 1 November, a Dutch court disallowed low-cost airline Ryanair to close its Eindhoven base. One month ago the Irish based airline announced to close the base in The Netherlands due to “lower traffic because of strikes“. A lame excuse, according to 16 pilots based at Eindhoven hence they went to court to have the decision revised.
In a short statement, Ryanair said to appeal to the court verdict and that they will close its Eindhoven base on 6th November, as planned.
