Fight on board: Ryanair flight to Malta forced to divert to Pisa

Share

A Ryanair Boeing 737 made an emergency landing at Pisa Airport after a nasty fight inflight

The reason for the fight on board of this aircraft from Brussels to Malta (flight FR2906) on 2 November is not clear. According to witnesses, East-European passengers behaved very aggressively. Attempts to stop the fight, proved futile. Even the crew was unable to calm the hotheads. The captain decided to divert  to Pisa where the 4 passengers were plucked from the aircraft and arrested.

Ryanair condemned the unacceptable behaviour and states : “Our main priority is the safety of our passengers and staff“.
