Ryanair carried more than 20.1 million passengers in September 2026, an increase of 4% compared with the 19.4 million passengers recorded in the same month last year. The airline operated more than 111,700 flights during the month, with its load factor remaining unchanged at 94%.
Ryanair said more than 1,000 flights were cancelled in September due to a combination of disruptions, including another UK air traffic control system collapse, air traffic controller strikes in Belgium and eruptions of Mount Etna in Sicily.
Over the past 12 months, Ryanair carried 215.1 million passengers, up 5% from 203.9 million in the previous rolling 12-month period. The rolling load factor remained at 94%.
