Ryanair Holdings plc today (Wednesday, 4 June) announced its May 2025 traffic statistics, reporting that the airline carried 19.6 million passengers across its network—an increase of 4% compared to May last year. The load factor remained unchanged at a strong 95%, the Irish low-cost operator wrote in a press release.
The figures reflect continued robust demand for low-cost air travel as Ryanair maintains its position as Europe’s largest airline by passenger numbers. The carrier operated over 107,000 flights during the month, keeping its load factor stable year-on-year despite growing capacity.
May’s performance continues the airline’s positive momentum heading into the busy summer season, where Ryanair expects to sustain high traffic volumes supported by its expanded schedule and recently added routes across Europe and beyond.
