Qatar Airways will begin three weekly flights to The Red Sea (RSI), Saudi Arabia, starting 21 October 2025, making it the airline’s 12th Saudi destination. The service will connect the new luxury tourism hub to over 170 global destinations via Doha’s Hamad International Airport.
The route supports Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea development, which features pristine islands, reefs, ancient landscapes, and growing luxury hospitality offerings, including five hotels already open and new resorts on Shura Island launching this year.
Qatar Airways Group CEO Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer highlighted the airline’s commitment to providing diverse travel experiences, while Red Sea Global CEO John Pagano called the partnership a milestone in establishing the destination as a world-class luxury hub.
Flights will operate Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays with convenient morning departures from Doha and midday returns. Red Sea International Airport, opened in 2023, is designed to handle over one million passengers annually by 2030.
Qatar Airways Privilege Club members can earn and redeem Avios on the new route, enhancing travel rewards.
