Qatar Airways has launched three weekly non-stop flights between Doha and Hail, marking its 13th destination in Saudi Arabia and further strengthening its presence in the Kingdom. The inaugural flight landed at Hail International Airport this week, underscoring the airline’s continued expansion in one of its most strategic regional markets.
The new service operates every Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, providing direct connectivity between Hail and Qatar Airways’ hub at Hamad International Airport. With the addition of Hail, the airline now operates more than 150 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia, serving destinations including Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, AlUla, NEOM, and The Red Sea.
Qatar Airways said the route supports its long-term strategy to enhance regional and international connectivity, improving access to Saudi Arabia’s north-central region from Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and the wider Middle East. Passengers benefit from seamless onward connections to more than 170 global destinations via Doha.
Hail Province is known for its cultural heritage, desert landscapes, and UNESCO-listed rock art sites, and is emerging as an increasingly attractive destination for both domestic and international travellers. The new flights are expected to support tourism growth while reinforcing Qatar Airways’ role as a key connector to and within the Kingdom.
