Qatar Airways introduces new premium amenity kits

Award-winning airline partners with BRICS and Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio to complement Qatar Airways’ Business and First Class experience

Qatar Airways has signed an exclusive three-year partnership with premium purveyors BRICS and Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio to elevate the airline’s premium cabin experience.
BRICS, the Italian maker of stylish travel bags, has created a bespoke premium amenity bag inspired by their world-famous Bellagio series. The First Class amenity kit will come in four colours: black, grey, burgundy and white, with full grain leather inserts paired with a high-tech shell designed with contrasting stitching accents, with Tuscan leather trim.
The BRICS Business Class amenity kit is inspired by the Sintesis line of trolley bags, is an asymmetrical shape, also in four colours: black, grey, burgundy and white, featuring innovative lightweight materials that provide functionality with style.
Qatar Airways has partnered with BRICS in an exclusive three-year term to provide its premium travellers with the finest keepsake amenity kits. The amenity kits also exclusively feature products from Italy’s Castello Monte Vibiano Vecchio, the environmentally friendly olive oil company, including lip balm, hydrating facial mist and City Cream anti-ageing moisturiser in Business Class, with the added Night recovery cream for First Class kits.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said: “Qatar Airways curates the finest travelling experience of any airline, by focusing on the entire passenger experience. No detail is too small to go unnoticed, which is why we have sought out the finest producers in the world to create an amenity package that adds value to the journey. We do not rest on our award-winning premium laurels, but rather continually evolve in order to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. In early 2017, we will introduce an historic and revolutionary Business Class experience that no other airline can offer, and our premium amenity kit redesign featuring some of the world’s leading luxury products is a preview to our refreshed approach.”

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, Mr. Rossen Dimitrov, said: “We choose to partner with these brands because they represent quality, with a true understanding of how their products elevate the experience for every customer. We choose to work with the best in order to complement the personalised on-board service our passengers should expect on every Qatar Airways flight. We have been consistently recognised for our best-in-class product and service, and we will continue to seek ways to always improve and stay a leader in the minds of our customers.”
Attilio Briccola, BRIC’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “We consider Qatar Airways as the best airline to partner on the amenity kit project. Our motto is Made in BRIC’s, where fashion meets function and elegance meets innovation: in our company, we consider the quality of our products the main and most important topic, that helps us to retain our loyal consumers. We are honored to share our values with Qatar Airways, such a premium and prestigious airline and to be part of their great passenger travel experience.”
Lorenzo Fasola Bologna, CEO of Castello Monte Vibiano, the first certified carbon neutral olive oil farm in the world, stated: “Qatar Airways always offers top-end brands, products and services to its customers. We are proud to offer our line of unique skin care products exclusively to Qatar Airways First Class and Business Class customers. Our cosmetics are the result of years of detailed research in the extraction of polyphenols, nature’s most powerful anti-aging antioxidants, coming from the world-class, award-winning Castello Monte Vibiano olives. We are delighted, as a partner, that Qatar Airways premium customers can enjoy the benefits of our cosmetics in-flight and long after the flight has landed.”
