On 5 March, a Qantas Boeing 737-800 operating flight QF706 from Adelaide to Canberra was flying at 25,000 feet when suddenly the oxygen masks dropped after a problem with the pressurization. Shortly after, the aircraft made a rapid descend. The pilots decided to divert to Melbourne.
The belated aircraft is still on the ground at Melbourne at moment of writing.
