Goshawk delivers its first Airbus A350-900 to Philippine Airlines

Goshawk global aircraft leasing company, is pleased to announce the delivery of an Airbus A350-900 aircraft to four-star carrier Philippine Airlines. This is the first delivery between Goshawk and Philippine Airlines.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the partnership between Airbus and Philippine Airlines. To celebrate this partnership, Philippine Airlines has showcased its ‘Love Bus’ logo on the aircraft, which was first unveiled on Philippine Airlines Airbus A300B4 aircraft in 1979.

Peter Watson, Chief Commercial Officer at Goshawk commented: “We are delighted to add Philippine Airlines to Goshawk’s growing list of customers. The Philippines is an important growth market and Philippine Airlines is an integral part of this growth, so we look forward to building on our close relationship over the coming years.

PAL President and COO Jaime J. Bautista said, “We are very pleased to work with Goshawk in the delivery of this brand new A350. We look forward to deploying the aircraft on our routes to London, New York, and Toronto. The delivery of this newest member of the PAL family is a double celebration as it marks the PAL-Airbus partnership now on its 40th year, and celebrates the airline’s signature heartfelt service.”
