Pegasus Airlines has launched direct flights between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Ljubljana, starting 26 January 2026, marking Slovenia as the airline’s 55th country in its international network. The new route strengthens connectivity between Türkiye and Slovenia while offering affordable travel options between the two European cities.
The service operates three weekly return flights, with departures from Istanbul on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and corresponding return flights from Ljubljana on the same days. A launch ceremony at Sabiha Gökçen Airport was attended by representatives from Pegasus Airlines, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, and Slovenian diplomatic officials.
Pegasus Airlines CEO Güliz Öztürk said the new route supports the carrier’s ongoing expansion in Europe, enhances accessibility to Ljubljana as a growing destination, and contributes to increased tourism, trade and social ties between the two countries.
