Jean-Jacques Cloquet, Brussels South Charleroi Airport’s CEO, sees great potential for BSCA in Pegasus Airlines: “Since Pegasus Airlines arrived at Charleroi in 2014, we’ve seen a sort of revolution. The services available before then were point-to-point. With Pegasus, we arrived at a turning point in the airport’s history. It is now possible to take off from Charleroi and travel via a hub to destinations that are much further away. The computer systems used, as well as the way we worked, have had to be adapted to fulfil the airline’s requirements and offer passengers a new product. Compared with 2014, the airline carried 50% more passengers between January and September 2015. We have an excellent relationship with Pegasus Airlines, an airline with whom we can imagine developing our respective businesses even further.
