Oman Air launches five new routes in major July expansion, adding Singapore, Sochi and more

Share

Oman Air is significantly expanding its international network with the launch of five new routes in July 2026, marking one of its largest single-month network additions to date and bringing its global destinations to 49.

The expansion begins on 2 July with new direct services from Muscat to Singapore and Sochi, followed by flights to Tashkent and the airline’s first Dubai–Salalah connection on 3 July. A daily service to Abu Dhabi is set to begin on 9 July.

The new routes will operate with varying frequencies, including four weekly flights to Singapore, two weekly flights to Tashkent, one weekly flight to Sochi, and three weekly Dubai–Salalah services, alongside daily Abu Dhabi operations.

Oman Air says the rapid network growth reflects its broader transformation strategy and alignment with Oman Vision 2040, aimed at boosting tourism, trade and international connectivity. The airline’s expansion over the past 18 months has included joining the oneworld alliance, as well as launching services to destinations such as Amsterdam, Rome and Taif.

Chief Executive Officer Con Korfiatis described the five-route rollout as a defining milestone in the airline’s development, emphasising the dual goal of expanding global reach while increasing inbound travel to Oman.
