Share

Widerøe flight WF1455 from Oslo to Trondheim (De Havilland Dash 8-100 reg. LN-WIU) experienced a landing gear issue on Saturday evening, prompting the aircraft to circle above Værnes Airport before landing safely at 20:48, over 90 minutes after its scheduled arrival.

There were 35 passengers and three crew members onboard. Emergency services were on standby, but the incident was handled without drama, and no mayday was declared.

Widerøe confirmed the issue and stated that the aircraft will undergo a thorough inspection before returning to service.
