The European Regions Airline Association (ERA) has added Sunclass Airlines to its growing roster of airline members, further strengthening its representation of Europe’s regional and leisure aviation sector.
Based in Denmark, Sunclass Airlines operates an extensive Nordic charter network, serving seven base airports and 24 secondary airports, primarily within the EU. Trading under its current name since 2019, the carrier builds on decades of operational heritage under previous brands including Thomas Cook Airlines, MyTravel Airways and Premiair.
Sunclass is part of the Nordic Leisure Travel Group, integrating airline operations with tour operators and hotels to deliver coordinated leisure travel across Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The airline focuses on connecting the Nordics with popular European holiday destinations and selected longer-haul markets.
ERA Director General Montserrat Barriga welcomed the move, highlighting Sunclass’s regional expertise and integrated business model as valuable additions to the association’s advocacy work on connectivity and sustainable aviation policy across Europe.
