Norwegian Group carried a total of 1.75 million passengers in December 2025, with 1.45 million travelling on Norwegian and 304,000 on Widerøe. For the full year, the Group transported 27.3 million passengers, reflecting solid demand across both airlines and strengthened route networks.
Norwegian reported improved efficiency in December, achieving a load factor of 84.8 percent, up 2.7 percentage points year over year, despite a five percent reduction in capacity. Operational performance remained robust through the busy Christmas period, with regularity of 99.6 percent and punctuality of 82.0 percent. The airline operated an average of 74 aircraft during the month and entered the new year with encouraging booking momentum, supported by its annual New Year’s sale.
Widerøe carried 304,000 passengers in December and closed 2025 with a record 4.13 million passengers, the highest annual total in the airline’s history. While December performance was affected by storms late in the holiday period, Widerøe significantly improved operational reliability, with regularity rising to 95.7 percent and punctuality to 84.1 percent. The December load factor declined to 67.2 percent, partly due to reduced charter activity.
Overall, 2025 marked a record year for Widerøe and a year of clear growth and operational improvement for the Norwegian Group, with management highlighting stable operations, strong demand, and an expanded summer programme as key priorities going forward.
