The Norwegian Group, comprising Norwegian and Widerøe, carried 2.64 million passengers in October 2025, marking a 3% year-on-year increase. Norwegian accounted for 2.25 million passengers, while Widerøe served 389,000.
October was a milestone month for the group, highlighted by the arrival of the first new Boeing 737 MAX 8 (SE-NAD) from Norwegian’s 80-aircraft order and the award of a new domestic route in Denmark, to be operated partly with sustainable aviation fuel.
“October was a month of strong performance for the Norwegian Group. Both airlines delivered excellent on-time results and high load factors. We are now looking ahead to a promising winter season, supported by our Program X efficiency initiatives,” said Geir Karlsen, CEO of Norwegian.

Norwegian’s 2025 winter schedule officially launched on 26 October, featuring six new routes to popular sun destinations. According to Karlsen, demand remains strong for the winter season, particularly for Christmas travel.
“We’re seeing robust booking momentum and encourage customers to secure their holiday travel early,” Karlsen added.
With solid performance, high punctuality, and fleet renewal underway, Norwegian enters the winter season on a confident trajectory.
