Norwegian is expanding its Swedish network once again, announcing four new routes from Stockholm Arlanda and Göteborg Landvetter ahead of the airline’s summer 2026 schedule. The carrier will add services to Montpellier, Basel and Beirut from Stockholm, while Riga will be introduced from Gothenburg.
The additions underscore Norwegian’s renewed push in the Swedish market, where demand for international travel continues to rise.
“Norwegian’s investment is a clear sign of the high demand for travel to and from Sweden,” said Elizabeth Axtelius, Swedavia’s Director of Aviation Business. She highlighted the airline’s long-standing role in strengthening connectivity for business travel, leisure trips and visits to family and friends.
The newly announced destinations complement Norwegian’s previously revealed summer 2026 expansion, which includes new services to Hamburg, Milan and Tirana from both major Swedavia airports. In total, Norwegian plans to open seven new Swedish routes next summer, bringing its network to 72 routes across 64 destinations.
“We’re very happy to offer even more destinations next summer,” said Charlotte Holmbergh, Norwegian’s Country Director Corporate Affairs. “We look forward to welcoming travellers on board.”

Riga (RIX): 2x weekly from 29 March 2026
The expanded program further cements Norwegian’s position as a key carrier in Sweden heading into the 2026 summer season.
