The Norwegian Group delivered the strongest financial result in its history in 2025, reporting an operating profit (EBIT) of NOK 3.732 billion and a record operating margin of 9.9 percent. The Board of Directors will propose a dividend of NOK 8.80 per share, totalling NOK 844 million, subject to shareholder approval.
In the fourth quarter, the group posted an EBIT of NOK 21 million, a marked improvement compared to a negative result in the same period of 2024. A total of 6.2 million passengers travelled with the group during the quarter — 5.2 million with Norwegian and 1.0 million with Widerøe — both showing year-on-year growth.
For the full year, passenger numbers reached 27.3 million, up from 26.4 million in 2024. Norwegian achieved a fourth-quarter load factor of 86.0 percent, while Widerøe reported 70.5 percent. Punctuality also improved, with 83.2 percent of Norwegian flights departing within 15 minutes of schedule.
CEO Geir Karlsen said the record result reflects strong customer demand and enables continued dividend payments while investing further in fleet renewal and sustainability initiatives, including increased use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
