Norwegian Group carried a total of 1.75 million passengers in December 2025, with 1.45 million travelling on Norwegian and 304,000 on Widerøe. Both airlines delivered solid operational performance during the month, despite challenging winter weather and the busy Christmas travel period. Regularity and punctuality improved year-on-year for both carriers.
For the full year 2025, Norwegian and Widerøe carried a combined 27.3 million passengers, highlighting strong demand across strengthened route networks. Norwegian achieved a load factor of 84.8 percent in December, up from the previous year, while Widerøe also set a new annual passenger record of 4.13 million.
Commenting on the results, CEO Geir Karlsen said booking momentum remains encouraging, supported by the ongoing New Year’s sale and a continued focus on strong operational execution through the winter, while preparations are under way for the Group’s most extensive summer programme in several years.
