A physical altercation occurred on a Norwegian Air Shuttle flight en route to Oslo Airport. The incident involved two men in their 20s, who were part of the same travel group and got into a dispute over who should sit by the window.
According to police, the disagreement escalated during the flight, originating from Malaga, Spain, forcing cabin crew to intervene and separate the two men. Other nearby passengers and crew were reportedly left feeling uncomfortable by the situation.
The airplane continued to Oslo as planned, but police were waiting at the gate when the flight arrived and took the involved men into their custody. One of them is being reported to authorities for violating aviation regulations and disturbing the peace, including putting the aircraft and passengers at risk.
Norwegian confirmed the incident and stated that the matter has been formally reported to the police. According to the airline, the dispute was partly defused by giving one of the men a different seat during the flight.
