Norse Atlantic Airways is significantly expanding its Thailand programme for the Winter 2026/27 season, adding capacity from the UK, Norway and Sweden in response to strong demand for travel to Southeast Asia.
The airline will launch a new three-times-weekly route between London Gatwick and Phuket, while increasing flights between Manchester and Bangkok to four weekly services from December 2026. Existing winter routes from London Gatwick to Bangkok and Cape Town will also continue.
In Scandinavia, Norse will boost frequencies from both Oslo and Stockholm, with Bangkok services increasing to as many as five weekly flights from each city and Phuket flights rising to up to twice weekly.
CEO Eivind Roald said Thailand remains one of the airline’s strongest-performing markets and that the additional capacity reflects Norse’s strategy of deploying aircraft where customer demand and satisfaction are highest.
The expansion follows continued operational improvements and progress in the airline’s Falcon transformation programme, as Norse seeks to strengthen efficiency and support its ongoing growth.
