His Majesty King Philip of Belgium made a visit to Brussels Airport this Thursday morning. Among others, he visited the baggage system, the renovation works of the Sky Hall (the part of the airport built for the Universal Exhibition of 1958), and the Airport Operation Centre.
The King was accompanied by Belgian Federal Minister of Transport François Bellot, Brussels Airport Company Chairman Marc Descheemaeker and Brussels Airport Company CEO Arnaud Feist.
The King also had a meeting at the new Deloitte building located on the airport premises.
For security reasons, the visit had not been announced.
