Magma Aviation has added a new Boeing 747 Freighter (B747F) to its fleet, further strengthening its long-term growth strategy and global cargo capabilities.
“With this new aircraft, we increase our overall capacity to serve existing clients while opening new routes and expanding services,” said Peter Kerins, CEO of Magma Aviation.
The B747F remains one of the most capable freighters in the industry, carrying over 100 tons per flight and handling outsized or specialised cargo such as helicopters, boats, and mining equipment. The addition will give Magma greater flexibility to meet growing global demand and improve supply chain resilience for industries including automotive, pharmaceuticals, and technology.
Magma emphasised its controlled approach to expansion, highlighting strong operational standards, meticulous route planning, and a bespoke planning system to ensure seamless integration.
Looking ahead, the company plans to triple its fleet by 2030, with a balanced mix of wide-body freighters such as the B747F and B777F.
