Luxembourg-based airline Luxair will open a new direct route between Helsinki Airport and Luxembourg in July 2026, expanding its European network and offering new travel options for both business and leisure passengers.
The route will launch on 2 July 2026 and operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Thursdays, using modern Embraer E195-E2 aircraft.
Finavia’s Senior VP of Sales and Route Development, Petri Vuori, said the new link connects two major European hubs and offers Finnish travellers smooth access to onward destinations across Southern Europe, as well as nearby regions in Belgium, Germany, and France, including the Champagne region.
The route strengthens connectivity from Finland to the heart of Western Europe and is part of Luxair’s ongoing expansion strategy.
