Luxair has inaugurated direct flights between Helsinki and Luxembourg, introducing a new twice-weekly connection that further expands Helsinki Airport’s European route network.
The first flight departed on 2 July, with the new service operating every Monday and Thursday. The route is flown using the Embraer E195-E2, making it the first regular scheduled operation of the aircraft type at Helsinki Airport.
The new connection provides passengers with a direct link between Finland and Luxembourg while also offering convenient onward connections via Luxembourg Airport, particularly to destinations across Southern Europe.
Finavia welcomed Luxair’s arrival at Helsinki Airport, noting that the new route strengthens the airport’s role as a European hub and enhances travel options for both business and leisure passengers.
