After the deadly attack that happened Friday in the Sousse region in Tunisia, LuxairTours succeeded in contacting all its clients spending their holidays in that area and got confirmation that none of them was harmed. LuxairTours remains in touch with its clients on site and listens closely to their concerns.

LuxairGroup would like to express its condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of this attack. Their thoughts do also go out to the Tunisian people and its local partners, harshly affected by this attack.
Two LuxairTours clients who witnessed the attack and shortly after expressed their wish to return home as soon as possible were repatriated on Friday night to Luxembourg aboard a Luxembourg Air Rescue plane.

Both are unharmed but were seriously affected by the attack that happened on a beach near the hotel in which they stayed. One of them was hospitalized shortly after their arrival. LuxairTours would like to thank Luxembourg Air Rescue for their prompt reaction and immediate help brought to their clients.

Waiting for the security situation to be clarified in the catchment area of the Enfidha airport, Luxair has decided to cancel all its flight to that destination until July 12th included and invites all its customers who are currently in that area (hotels in the regions of Sousse, Monastir and Hammamet) to return home on the flights of Sunday June 28th. LuxairTours clients in Djerba who wish to anticipate their return will be able to do so this Sunday, June 28th, on the flight LG 206.

To all its clients having booked a trip to Tunisia this Summer (travel period terminating no later than September 15th) and wishing to abandon that decision, LuxairTours proposes to cancel that booking without cost until July 12th. To all its customers wishing to change their reservation from Tunisia to another destination of the LuxairTours 2015 Summer season , a 150 Euro rebate per booking file will be granted. In the coming days, LuxairTours will contact all clients having made a reservation for the Enfidha region in the first half of July.

Luxair will remain in contact with the Tunisian and Luxembourgish authorities in order to evaluate the local security situation and will decide until mid July if flights to Enfidha shall be resumed.

For all clients interested in booking other destinations. LuxairTours will increase its capacities to serve notably the Canaries and continental Spain. Luxair has activated a hotline for all your questions regarding the Tunisia destination; please call +352 2456 2456.
