Monthly traffic results
Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS)1 transported 1,619,931 passengers in October, a
6.2% increase on the same month last year.
SWISS operated 13,001 flights in the month, 5.9% more than it had performed
in the prior-year period.
Systemwide October capacity was raised 4.4% over its prior-year level in available
seat-kilometre (ASK) terms.
Total traffic volume, measured in revenue passenger-kilometres (RPKs), was up
5.3% on October 2017. Systemwide seat load factor for October improved accordingly, rising 0.7 percentage points to 84.7%.
