Edelweiss Air has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo, marking a key milestone in the airline’s fleet renewal strategy.
The aircraft, registered HB-JDB, arrived in Zurich from the UK and represents a new generation of short- and medium-haul jets, offering improved fuel efficiency, lower CO? emissions, and reduced noise thanks to advanced engine technology and aerodynamic enhancements.
Passengers will also benefit from a redesigned cabin, featuring a more modern look and enhanced onboard comfort.
The aircraft entered commercial service on April 4, 2026, operating its first flights to Larnaca and Rhodes.
Edelweiss plans to add a total of six A320neo aircraft by 2028, underlining its commitment to more sustainable and future-focused operations.
