Edelweiss, Switzerland’s leading leisure airline, will launch seasonal non-stop flights from Zurich to Windhoek, Namibia, starting 1 June 2026. The route will operate twice weekly (Mondays and Fridays) until the end of October using the modern Airbus A350, offering passengers a quiet, fuel-efficient, and comfortable long-haul travel experience.
Namibia, known for its stunning landscapes, wildlife, and adventure tourism, becomes Edelweiss’s fourth destination in southern Africa, alongside Cape Town, Kilimanjaro, and Zanzibar. Flights are now bookable via flyedelweiss.com and standard sales channels.
Edelweiss will also maintain all short-haul destinations from summer 2025, including Tbilisi, Bristol, Terceira, Zadar, and Calvi, with additional network updates expected soon.
