On 1 October, a lorry transporting a Rolls Royce jet engine for Lufthansa hit the underside of a bridge on the E40, a Belgian motorway connecting Ostend with Brussels. The incident happened around 15:30 and – most likely – the load was too high for the bridge.

The Rolls Royce engine – valued around €30,000,000 was heading to Germany. Fortunately, nobody was injured.
