Share

Lufthansa has officially reopened its First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport, following an extensive renovation that began in October 2024. Unveiled on May 22, 2025, the redesigned lounge spans approximately 1,000 square meters and is accessible daily from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM near gates G21 and H21.

This reopening marks a significant enhancement in Lufthansa’s premium ground services, aligning with the airline’s broader Allegris initiative to elevate the travel experience for its First Class passengers.

The revamped lounge offers a blend of luxury and functionality, featuring a newly designed gastronomic area that includes an à la carte restaurant, a front-cooking buffet, and a sophisticated bar . Additional amenities encompass quiet zones with day beds, luxury washrooms equipped with showers and bathtubs, and well-appointed workspaces with printers and photocopiers . For those seeking relaxation, the lounge provides a Cigar Lounge and a selection of entertainment options, ensuring a serene environment before departure.

This reopening is part of Lufthansa’s commitment to enhancing its premium offerings, complementing the introduction of the Allegris First Class product on select routes from Munich, including destinations such as Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Shanghai, and Bengaluru . The refurbished lounge not only elevates the pre-flight experience for First Class travelers and HON Circle members but also reflects Lufthansa’s dedication to providing exceptional comfort and service at every stage of the journey.
