The Lufthansa Group will officially open its new Hangar One visitor and conference centre at Frankfurt Airport to the public on 1 August, offering an interactive exhibition celebrating 100 years of aviation and Lufthansa history.
Covering more than 6,000 square metres, the facility features multimedia displays, aviation artefacts and two historic aircraft: a Junkers Ju 52 and a Lockheed Super Star, the latter of which will eventually be open for interior visits. The exhibition also examines Lufthansa’s role during the National Socialist era alongside the airline’s development into a global aviation group.
Open to visitors on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, Hangar One also includes a café, gift shop, flight simulator and dedicated audio guides for adults and children. Tickets are available online, with standard adult admission priced at €8.
Beyond its public exhibition, Hangar One offers seven meeting rooms and a range of event spaces for corporate and private functions, reinforcing its role as both an aviation attraction and a conference venue at Frankfurt Airport.
