Lufthansa flies from Munich to Marrakech for the first time

In future, oriental flair will only be four hours away from Munich. From Sunday, 30 October, Lufthansa will be flying to Marrakech for the first time, thus connecting the Moroccan city with its southern hub twice a week. The Airbus A321 leaves Munich every Friday at 10.45 am and on Sundays at 11.50 am. This enables ideal connections to domestic and European airports. If you like your journey even more comfortable, you can also enjoy the flight in Business Class. “With Marrakech, we offer our customers a popular year-round destination which offers many cultural highlights for holiday and study travellers. Together with Marrakech, our passengers have a choice of 22 attractive holiday destinations this winter as well,” says Thomas Winkelmann, CEO Hub Munich.

Denver and Tehran, both new destinations this summer, are also in the flight schedule for the winter. Los Angeles, Miami and Tel Aviv are offered on a more regular basis. Odessa, Porto and Debrecen in Hungary are also in the schedule. Flights to the Polish city Rzeszów start in winter from Munich, instead of from Frankfurt. There are also more weekly connections to Ancona and Graz. The flight offer to Malta has even been doubled. In total, Lufthansa is offering 2250 weekly flights from Munich to 118 destinations on four continents in this winter´s flight schedule.

The return flight to Marrakech can be booked from 199 euro.
