Earn miles over night

Lufthansa customers can now earn miles when they book a place to stay via LH.com as part of the Lufthansa Group’s partnership with Booking.com

It has never been so easy to earn miles: while you are peacefully asleep in a hotel bed, your Miles account balance increases automatically. This is made possible by a cooperation between Lufthansa and Booking.com that began in early 2017.

And this is how earning miles over night works: the offer is located on the www.lh.com  homepage, on the “Hotel” tab of the “Book & Manage” section. Passengers who have booked a flight with Lufthansa will also receive an offer to book a suitable place to stay at their flight’s destination along with their flight confirmation. Lufthansa customers who are a member of the frequent flyer and awards programme Miles & More will be credited one award mile for every euro spent; the award miles will be credited to the Miles account after the stay. This offer is only valid for bookings made through www.lh.com for which a Miles & More service card number is given during the booking process. It is not possible to credit miles retroactively.

With Booking.com, the world’s leading online hotel reservation portal, Lufthansa customers have access to over 1,100,000 accommodation options in over 100,000 destinations worldwide. This selection is varied: from simple hostels for young travellers to holiday homes, apartments and luxurious hotels, meaning that every guest can find the lodgings they are looking for. This makes it possible to meet the specific needs of leisure and business travellers on national and international routes even more effectively. With more than 114 million recent reviews from travellers on Booking.com, it’s easier for guests to find and book the stay that’s just right for them.
