Lufthansa will resume Frankfurt–Nagoya flights and introduce a daily Frankfurt–Tokyo-Narita service for summer 2027, as Lufthansa Group expands its Japanese network in response to growing demand.
The seasonal Nagoya route will operate three times weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 29 March. Daily Tokyo-Narita flights will begin on 28 March, complementing Lufthansa’s existing daily Tokyo-Haneda services from Frankfurt and Munich.
Both routes will use Boeing 787-9s equipped with Allegris cabins, seating 287 passengers: 28 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy and 231 in Economy.
SWISS will also increase Zurich–Tokyo-Narita services to up to seven weekly flights. Together, Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, SWISS and ITA Airways will serve Tokyo-Haneda, Tokyo-Narita, Osaka and Nagoya, with further connections available through joint venture partner ANA. The new flights are available to book.
