Lufthansa City Airlines has reached its first comprehensive collective labour agreement with the ver.di union, covering both cockpit and cabin crew through at least 2029.
The deal establishes standardised pay structures and working conditions, including provisions for pensions and performance-based compensation. It reflects the majority representation of employees by ver.di and provides planning certainty as the airline expands.
Effective retroactively from April 1, 2026, the agreement is designed to support workforce growth, improve operational stability, and strengthen competitiveness in Europe’s short-haul market, particularly at hubs in Munich and Frankfurt.
