Lufthansa Cargo has launched its Summer 2026 schedule, reinforcing its global logistics network through a combination of dedicated freighter operations and expanded belly cargo capacity across the Lufthansa Group.
The carrier will operate 87 weekly freighter flights to up to 35 destinations worldwide using its fleet of 18 Boeing 777F aircraft. Asia remains a key focus, with up to 48 weekly connections to 17 destinations, alongside increased transpacific services linking Ho Chi Minh City, Shanghai, and Los Angeles. Services to Delhi will also be reintroduced.
In the Americas, the airline offers 33 weekly connections to 15 destinations, including expanded service to Toronto. Within Europe and Africa, A321 freighters now serve routes such as Rome and Algiers, supporting 33 regional connections.
A key development is the creation of a six-hub European cargo network—Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, Brussels, Rome, and soon Zurich—enhanced through cooperation with SWISS WorldCargo.
Additionally, customers benefit from belly cargo capacity across up to 7,500 weekly passenger flights operated by group airlines, including Lufthansa Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, ITA Airways, and SunExpress.
The expanded schedule aims to provide greater flexibility, faster transport times, and improved resilience for global supply chains, positioning Lufthansa Cargo for continued growth in the international air freight market.
