Lufthansa’s budget carrier Eurowings cancelled 60 flights due to cabin crew strike

Lufthansa’s budget carrier Eurowings was forced to cancel 60 flights today due to a cabin crew strike.

The strike – a result of a pay dispute with labour union Verdi – started this morning 22 November at 05.00 at the Düsseldorf and Hamburg bases and will end at 20.00 this evening.

A new Lufthansa strike is expected tomorrow as the Lufthansa pilots will walk out of their cockpits.
